Our new (Valentine's) theme; Stay in Love.

Unplanned and actually a 'snack' this theme, because our living room became a bit empty after Christmas☺️
A little something extra, as we're working on a new, extensive line of cards for our large 49-compartment card mill.
In the nostalgic spirit of Christmas cards, quite a big project...

But oh, how this theme, "Stay in Love," brought everything together beautifully. It was another dance through the Bible. And initially, I hadn't planned on sharing these two Bible texts at all. I was busy with other Bible texts...

“Abide in Love,” so simple, so powerful; the words that come after “God is Love.”
The text from 1 John 4:16.
'He who abides IN Love abides IN God, and God IN him.'
Not a single pin between them, right?
When you are IN love, you are IN God and God is IN you.
The POWER of the word that cannot be added to or taken away from…
Stay in Love; a message so desperately needed in this age of judgment, opinion, and polarization.
STAY in LOVE. Remain in God and look with God's eyes at others, who are also His beloved children.
This text is from the HSV translation.

And then the second text from Isaiah 54 verse 10 in the Passion Translation.
I don't remember how I got here. This is what happens when the Holy Spirit leads…

God's great love, God's great compassion, God's unwavering faithfulness, God's steadfastness for you. Though the mountains may crumble, though the hills may give way, this GREAT LOVE for you and for me will remain steadfast.

In English, the Passion Translation, because this English wording says so much that cannot be captured in Dutch words.
